Oven Roasted Carrots (Your New Favorite Side Dish)

Ingredients

  • 5 large carrots
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes optional
  • Grated Parmesan

Instructions

  • Peel, cut, and rinse your carrots
  • FInely mince the garlic.
  • Add the butter to a dish or pot and melt it in the microwave or on a stove.
  • Find a large bowl and toss everything in a bowl (minus the Parmesan).
  • Spread the carrots on a baking dish and bake at 425° for about 15 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, add the grated Parmesan, and bake for 5 more minutes.
  • Serve with your favorite main dish.
  • Enjoy!

GLUTEN-FREE SUBSTITUTIONS: For those of you who need it, I always like to talk about substitutions to make this meal gluten-free. Nothing to worry about here! Plain and simple!
