Cajun Pasta

Creamy, spicy pasta that tastes like Jambalaya?? How can you say no! Another simple recipe to cook that is sure to leave your taste buds satisfied and tummies full

This recipe combines a few of my favorite things: Pasta, Sausage, and Spice! Obviously you can edit the recipe to your desired heat, but for me, one of my favorite things is when my mouth slowly starts to tingle as I keep eating. It makes you crave the next bite more and more! A few little notes about the cook so you can enjoy it as much as we do:

Andouille Sausage – Not all andouille is created equal. Obviously everyone’s local grocery stores may only have so many choices but for me I also look for sausage that is nitrate free and has as few preservatives as possible. It always tastes better and your body will thank you later

Shrimp – Little salt, pepper, and some Cajun season is all you need here. Add some oil to a pan and get it nice and hot. Toss in the shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side (depending on thickness). Should had a nice golden sear and not be overcooked!

**Need this one Gluten Free? No problem at all, just swap out the pasta with your favorite GF brand. For me, I used Barilla**
